Private Campground
The Reno area's main privately operated campground is a KOA. This has all the features one would expect from a facility in the KOA chain: swimming pool, playground, laundry, showers, RV hook-ups and wireless Internet.
Public Campgrounds
There are a wide range of public campgrounds in the Reno and Lake Tahoe area, which are part of either the Nevada or the California state park systems. Most of these will accommodate both tents and RVs and have a few facilities such as dump stations and running water, although not all the RV sites have RV hookups.
Rentals
There are a handful of agencies that deal in renting houses, apartments, or cabins in the Reno area, which may prove useful for those planning a longer-than-normal stay.
