Dynastar manufactures men's, women's and junior skis for all ability levels. Their skis use a construction method called Autodrive that combines cap construction with traditional vertical sidewalls, says Rocky Mountain Gear Guide.

Ski Types

In 2010, Dynastar categorized their adult skis into 5 main types: Race, Contact/Booster, All-Mountain Freeride, 6th sense and the Women's Exclusive line.

Race Skis

Race skis are performance skis made to compete on GS or slalom courses.

Contact/Booster Skis

Made for recreational skiers on groomed runs, the Contact skis have a significant amount of shaping. The Booster has a similar shape but is more forgiving for less advanced skiers.

All-Mountain Freeride

These skis are for intermediate and advances skiers who want to explore the entire mountain.

6th Sense

Freestyle skis with twin tips made for tricks and terrain parks.

Women's Skis, Exclusive Line

While women can ski any ski in the Dynastar lineup, this line is uniquely suited for women with a lighter weight, softer flex and raised heels.
