Seaside, Oregon, is a delight for any RV camper looking to enjoy the Oregon coast. As the "state's largest resort community," according to Woodalls, the area is very accessible for RV travelers. Seaside can be reached using the winding Highway 101, or by taking Highway 26 out of Portland.

A walking community

As Oregon's first seaside resort, this community focuses on keeping many amenities within an easy walking distance. For those staying in an RV this is an added bonus because you can walk directly from the in-town campgrounds.

Town activities

Stroll around town to experience Seaside's variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment. As a bonus, the first Saturday of each month showcases art downtown for the Seaside Art Walk.

Beach activities

Catch a wave and surf or sailboard the Pacific Ocean. If you prefer to stay dry the beaches offer lots of sand for walking, clam-digging and horseback riding.

Check Oregon road conditions

Check for weather warnings, construction delays, and road closures using Trip Check, sponsored by the Oregon Department of Transportation.

In-town RV parks

These parks are all located within 2 miles of the city center, and less than a mile from the beach.
