Southeast Asia is a large region with varied terrain. Travelers can find a wealth of outdoor adventure in the region's jungles, mountains and beaches.

Beaches

Windsurf along Vietnam's Phan Thiet beaches or sunbathe or swim at White Beach on the Philippines' Boracay Island. Or rent some gear and enjoy scuba diving along the famous Bali coastline in Indonesia.

Wildlife

Singapore offers superb wildlife viewing experiences. Jurong Bird Park near Boon Lay offers superb bird viewing, or visit Dolphin Lagoon or Underwater World, both located on Sentosa Island.

Ruins

The region offers a wealth of fascinating ruins. Start with the Hindu temples in Vietnam or Angkor in Cambodia. Or try the ruins at the famous Bagan temple in Burma.

Hiking

Hiking trails dot Southeast Asia, offering a wealth of nature and history. Hike to waterfalls in Thailand's Erawan National Park or trek to villages in Vietnam.

Mountain Climbing

Many climbers head straight for the highest peak in the region, Mt. Kinabalu in Borneo. The climb gives you incredible view of the entire Malaysian province of Sabah.
