Located in the southwest region of Oklahoma, Great Plains State Park is approximately a two hour drive from Oklahoma City and offers access to the Tom Steed Reservoir. Guests can access the park south of Hobart, Oklahoma, off of Highway 183.

Hours

Oklahoma Great Plains State Park is open to the public 24 hours a day year round. The park office maintains hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Activities

This state park offers hiking and mountain biking trails along with waterfront boat access and a swimming area. Guests may also engage in fishing and rock climbing.

Camping Amenities

The park has a 456 acre public campground with 56 RV water and electric hookup stations and room for 30 campground tents.

Recreation Amenities

Oklahoma Great Plains State Park offers public restrooms and showers, picnic areas, grilling sites, a playground and camping store.

Considerations

Okalahoma Great Plains State Park offers free general admission and does allow guests to bring their pets.
