At just over one square mile in size, tiny Patagonia, Arizona is tucked into a valley in the Santa Rita Mountains. Positioned along the border of Arizona and Mexico, this southern town enjoys a range of temperatures and low humidity.

Temperature

The mountain town experiences temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to the low 90s Fahrenheit. The warmest months are June and July. The coolest temperatures occur in December and January.

Humidity

Humidity ranges from 10 to 75 percent in Patagonia. The most humid month is August. Low humidity can be expected in May and June.

Precipitation

Patagonia averages 19 inches of precipitation per year. July and August are the rainiest months; expect 4 inches of rainfall at that time of year. Annual snowfall for the town averages 5.4 inches.

Breezes average 7 to 11mph in Patagonia throughout the year.
