Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania Tourism
Lehigh Valley is 730 miles of land rich in countryside, mountains and waterways. The region is just a few hours from New York City and Philadelphia. Visitors to the area can experience outdoor activities and enjoy art and culture.

Location

Lehigh Valley is between the Blue and South Mountain ranges in Eastern Pennsylvania. The valley's principle cities are Bethlehem, Allentown and Easton.

Tours

Visitors to Allentown in Lehigh Valley can take a tour of the region's seven covered bridges and explore a trail that affords views of 22 18th and 19th century log cabins. A third Lehigh Valley tour in Kutztown will guide visitors through lush countryside.

Parks & Trails

Lehigh Valley has a number of parks for picnicking and relaxing. The region is also home to Bushkill Falls and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. The former is a series of eight waterfalls nestled in the mountains accessible through a series of hiking trails. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary consists of eight miles of trails and a number of lookouts to observe the birds of prey that often fly overhead.

Arts

The region boasts a plethora of art and culture, from the Allentown Art Museum to the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. Repertory Dance Theater is Lehigh Valley's dance company, and puts on shows from "The Nutcracker" to "Romeo and Juliet."

Wineries

Lehigh Valley has nine family owned wineries. Visitors can explore the region's vineyards and wineries on the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail.
