Lake Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania Tourism
Visitors and locals enjoy visiting Pennsylvania's Lake Wallenpaupack to boat, fish, hike and bike, and they also enjoy several lake attractions and restaurants. A few lodging options also are available, most of which are in the popular Northeast section of the lake.

Location

Lake Wallenpaupack is located in the Northeast Pennsylvania town of Hawley and sprawls southeast. It is situated near the Pocono Mountains.

Attractions

Lake Wallenpaupack is an attraction in itself---with plenty of nature trails, gardens, marinas and shorelines. All throughout the year, couples and other guests also can enjoy area resorts that offer ice skating and water skiing, spas and hot tubs, golf, dining and other entertainment.

Dining

Dining at Lake Wallenpaupack will make patrons feel like they are at home, but they get to enjoy fresh seafood and sandwiches with scenic lake views. Some of the popular eateries include the Boat House Restaurant, which hosts local musical acts most every week, and Ehrhardt's waterfront restaurant, pub and banquet center, which is home to a special ice cream sundae bar.

Shopping

Nearby many of the lake attractions and restaurants are several shops for large items like boats and ski equipment and smaller necessities like clothing and home décor. The lake region also has other gift and candy shops, among places that sell winter and lake sports gear.

Lodging

Out of town guests to Lake Wallenpaupack have several lodging options. In addition to area resorts, the lake area also offers accommodations with lake-front cabins, cottages, camp and RV parks and hotels.
