Continental has more flights between the U.S. and Belize than any other airline, most of which go through Houston, with direct flights offered on winter weekends out of Newark Airport near New York City. Regular travelers should also inquire about the airline's OnePass Frequent Flyer program.
US Airways
US Airways has very competitive rates and numerous daily flights to Belize departing from cities all around the U.S., with Charlotte, North Carolina, serving as the main portal. Travelers are also encouraged to inquire about the airline's Dividend Miles program and US Airways Club membership.
American Airlines
American Airlines offers economically priced round trip packages to and from Belize, with most routed through its hubs in either Miami or Dallas/Fort Worth. Like other major US airlines, American offers passengers the chance to earn points and save money through its AAdvantage program.
Taca Airlines
Taca presents an even cheaper alternative to larger U.S. airlines, albeit with fewer departure cities from which to choose, including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Oakland, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington. Most flights stop at Taca's main gateway in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Delta Airlines
Although Delta has considerably fewer flights to and from Belize than other domestic airlines, coach ticket prices are competitive, and travelers are encouraged to inquire about the SkyMiles program for future savings opportunities. The majority of flights to Belize are routed through Atlanta, Georgia.
