Beavers Bend State Park is part of Oklahoma's state park system. It offers rustic to luxury accommodations and a variety of recreational opportunities.

Location

Beavers Bend State Park is located in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma, in McCurtain County, approximately 200 miles northeast of Dallas.

Lodging

Also referred to as Beavers Bend Resort Park, the area offers several lodging options: a 110-site campground equipped for tents and RVs; 47 cabins for rent within the park; and Lakeview Lodge, with 40 fully furnished rooms and a variety of amenities.

Activities

The park offers recreational activities such as an 18-hole golf course, tennis, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, jet skiing, boating, fly-fishing and campfire programs.

Events

The park has an annual wood art exhibit in the spring and a wood turning competition in the fall.

Nearby Attractions

There are several attractions located outside of Beavers Bend State Park. Hochatown State Park lies adjacent to Beavers Bend. Museum of the Red River is located in the nearby town of Idabel and showcases North American Indian art. Just south of Idabel is Ouachita National Forrest.
