This friendly, Mom-and-Pop motel sits on St. Pete Beach, with quiet, laid-back appeal and wallet-pleasing prices. Outdoor activities, like kayaking, parasailing, biking, and fishing, are right out your door.

Location

In the heart of St. Pete Beach, just off busy Gulf Boulevard, Long Key Beach Motel sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Beachfront activities, vendors and boat rentals are footsteps away.

Rooms

In contrast to neighboring high-rises and mega resorts, Long Key Beach has only 19 rooms and efficiencies. Decor is a bit dated but rooms are large and clean, with kitchenettes or full kitchens.

The motel offers a heated pool, beachfront deck (nice for sunset viewing), tiny garden patio, picnic tables and a small parking area.

Extra Amenities

Two poolside BBQ grills and a high-speed computer are available to guests, as well as a small, coin-operated laundry area. There's free Wi-Fi, too.

Rates

As of October 2009, Rooms at Long Key Beach motel were $65 to $90, depending on season. One-bedroom efficiencies were $75 to $125 per night.
