Mariner of the Seas Information

Mariner of the Seas Information
Lugging your climbing equipment and snorkel gear from hotel to hotel at different adventure destinations can become annoying and tiresome. You can avoid this hassle by traveling on a cruise ship like the Mariner of the Seas.

Basics

Operated by Royal Caribbean International, the Mariner of the Seas is a 138,000-ton cruise ship that measures 1,020 feet long with a maximum beam (width) of 157.5 feet. It can carry up to 3,114 passengers.

Routes

The ship plies the Pacific Coast of Mexico, starting at Los Angeles, California and continuing into the Mexican ports of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.

Facilities

Facilities include a rock climbing wall, ice skating rink and in-line skating. Youth facilities cater to teens and children.

Sports Gear

The cruise line imposes no restrictions on the number, type or size of baggage you can bring on board. However, the airline that you fly to reach the cruise port may limit the sports gear you can transport or they may charge you an extra fee.

Documentation

You need to have your passport and a tourist card to visit Mexico. You'll receive this card on board the ship for a small fee.
