Wolf Lake is an outdoor activity destination for all seasons in Egelston Township of Muskegon County in Michigan. Fish species like the chinook salmon, northern muskellunge and lake sturgeon swim in the area. Land lovers can enjoy miles of public trails for hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.

Fish Hatchery

The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery breeds steelhead trout, northern pike and walleye among other fish. Their visitor center offers catch and release fishing days and tours.

Boating and Fishing

Anglers can fish during the summer or use a shanty for winter ice fishing. The Wolf Lake Resort and Campground rents out rowboats, while campers can bring recreational watercraft to the lake.

Camping and RV Park

The Wolf Lake Resort and Campground contains sites for tents and RV trailers with the option of hookups. Vacationers can also rent apartment rooms or a three-bedroom house for long-term stays.

Snowmobiles and ATVs

Visitors can, depending on the season, rent an all-terrain vehicle or snowmobile at the Wolf Lake Motel and Resort. Lake County maintains more than 300 miles of trails set aside as public land.

Wolf Lake Motel and Resort

The motel and resort offers one- or two-room units, including some with a kitchenette. Guest rooms can be reserved by the day or week, and sleep between two and 10 people.
