Information on Darien Lake
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort is located in Darien Center, New York, and features a water park as well as thrill rides, family rides and kids' rides. Featuring miles of multiuse trails, Darien Lake State Park is nearby. Darien Lake Theme Park Resort offers more than 1,500 campsites.

Location and Directions

Located less than one hour from Buffalo, Rochester and Niagara Falls, Darien Lake can be accessed by taking the NYS Thruway (I-90), exiting 48A and continuing south six miles on Route 77.

Rides

Darien Lake Theme Park Resort features four different types of rides: thrill rides, such as the Viper (the first roller coaster in the world to loop riders upside down five times); family rides, such as Bear Valley Bumper Cars; kids' rides, such as the Darien Lake Express; and water rides.

Water Park

The Darien Lake Theme Park Resort Water Park is located within the theme park and is open only a few months of the year. The Water Park features attractions like Hooks Lagoon and Crocodile Isle Wave Pool, plus slides like Big Kahuna, Tornado and Cuda Falls.

Darien Lake State Park

Darien Lake Theme Park Resort is located near Darien Lake State Park, which features 158 campsites, hiking and horseback riding trails, and multiuse trails for hiking and cross-country skiing.

The Lodge on the Lake Hotel

Located a short walk from the Darien Lake Theme Park Resort, the Lodge on the Lake Hotel features 160 rooms, each with two queen beds, a pull-out couch, full bathroom, refrigerator and satellite television. Suites include a living room, fireplace and eating area. The hotel also has an outdoor pool.

Campgrounds

The Darien Lake Theme Park Resort offers more than 1,500 wooded campsites. Varying in proximity to the park entrance and by trail, the campsite locations feature electric and water. Nearby Darien Square offers amenities such as a first aid station, laundromat, showers, a general store, Beaver Brothers Café and more.
