Class C motorhomes are generally smaller than the luxurious class A models. Most class C motorhomes have all of the necessities in a relatively small space. Class C motorhomes have superior handling and are more economical than class A motorhomes.

Size

Most class C motorhomes are in the 16- to 32-foot range and typically weigh less than 15,000 pounds.

Function

Most class C motorhomes have all the necessities including bed, bath, kitchen, heating system, A/C system and options for television and entertainment.

Significance

Although class C motorhomes are smaller and less luxurious than their class A counterparts, they are more economical and easier to handle.

Fun Fact

A class C motorhome with slide-outs has the advantage of additional living space.

Class C motorhomes are great for those who are driving long distances, especially in the mountains. They have the advantage of better gas mileage and handling on the road, but living space is limited when compared to the class A models.
