Advantages
A campground membership gives you long-term cost savings because of deeply-discounted reservation rates. It also provides the option of making reservations at various affiliated campgrounds.
Disadvantages
A campground membership has added upfront and annual costs. Most memberships have an initiation fee plus an annual membership fee. Reservations have to be made at one of the member campgrounds to receive the deeply discounted reservation rate.
