Disney Campground Rules
Camping at Disney World is available at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds. Located near the Magic Kingdom theme park just outside Orlando, Florida, this rugged, American Frontier style campground can be a great headquarters for your Disney vacation.

Vehicles

Vehicles are limited to one passenger vehicle (car/truck) and one recreational vehicle (RV/camper). There is no need to rent a car. Complementary transportation is available from the campgrounds to the theme park, water park and Orlando International Airport.

Bicycles and Four-Wheelers

The campground rents bicycles and golf carts to expedite transportation. You can bring and use your own bicycles. Other motorized vehicles such as four-wheelers or golf carts that you own are not authorized in the campground.

Campfires

Each campground is equipped with a charcoal grill. No other campfires are allowed. There is a nightly Chip 'n' Dale "Sing-a-Long" at the community campfire.

Pets

The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has pet-friendly camping areas. The Waggin' Trails Dog Park is an off-leash dog park. It is encouraged to leave pets behind at the kennels while visiting the theme parks. It is against camp rules to leave your pet in a tent or vehicle without air conditioning.

Smoking and Alcohol

All Disney resorts and guest rooms are smoke free. At the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, you can smoke at your campsite or on the porch of your cabin. There are no alcohol restrictions.
