Midsummer in western Mexico is hot and humid, with little rainfall on average. The average high in Cabo San Lucas is 96 degrees Fahrenheit in July, and the average low is 73, with less than an inch of rainfall.
Northern Mexico

The Chihuahuan Desert and areas around it in northern Mexico tend to be very hot in July, though nights can get much cooler. For example, the average July high in Juarez is 95, but the average low is just 70 degrees. Only a little rainfall occurs during this month.
Central Mexico
The valleys, plateaus and higher elevation of central Mexico make it slightly cooler than other regions in midsummer. Mexico City's average temperature in July is only 73 degrees, with an average low down of 53. This month is also the wettest time of year, with an average of 7.2 inches in the capital city.
Eastern Mexico
If you're in the eastern part of the country, temperatures and humidity remain high. Cancun, on the Yucatan Peninsula, has an average high in July of 90 and a low of 78. There is little rain this time of year.
Southern Mexico

The southern regions are also hot in the summer months, but tend to get more rainfall. Acapulco has an average high of 90 and a low of 77, but it typically receives over 8 inches of rain in July.
