Easton, Maryland has recycled decommissioned railroad lines into public biking and walking trails. The project contains two miles of trails as of October 2009.

The Jean Ellen duPont Shehan Audubon Sanctuary in Bozman promotes wildlife conservation and education. Horseback riding enthusiasts are permitted to bring their horses for rides on open days.
Golf Courses
The Hog Neck Golf Course in Easton features both 18- and 9-hole courses and a driving range. The Harbourtowne Golf Resort in St. Michaels contains pool and tennis court facilities in addition to their 18-hole course.
