Whether you are an avid skier looking for intense trails or a family looking for a fun winter vacation, Killington Ski Resort near Killington, Vermont is a great spot for visitors of all ages, including those who enjoy other winter activities.

Location

Killington Ski Resort is approximately 3 hours by car outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

Size

Killington Ski Resort is the largest ski and snowboard resort in the Eastern United States, serving as many as 17,000 skiers in a day. There are six mountains in the resort area: Killington, Snowden, Ramshead, Skye, Bear and Sunrise. Killington is the highest mountain with an elevation of 4,241 feet.

Awards

According to "Snoweast Magazine," readers voted Killington the No. 1 winter resort in the Northeast and the No. 2 winter resort in the eastern United States.

Snow

Killington has an average snowfall of 250 inches each year.

Trails

Killington has more than 141 trails, split almost equally among between "easy," "difficult" and "more difficult."

Dog sledding, snowshoeing, ice skating and snowmobiling are all popular activities in the Killington area.
