Atlanta Hartsfield Airport Parking Information

Atlanta Hartsfield Airport Parking Information
Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has the distinction of being the world's busiest airport. This major southeastern hub moves an average of 250,000 people every day. Parking here can often be a herculean task, but there are several options available to the traveler. Note that all prices quoted below are current as of 2009.

Short-Term Parking

For picking up passengers at the airport, there are hourly parking lots located directly in front of each terminal. The first two hours the rate is $1, with the next four hours at $2. The daily rate is $24.

Daily and Economy Parking

The closest spaces for overnight parking are the Daily parking decks across the North and South Terminals. The rate is $2 per hour with a maximum of $14 per day. The Economy lots, located next to the Daily parking decks, have a maximum rate of $10 per day. Shuttle cart services are available on the Economy lots from 8 a.m. to midnight to transport customers to and from their vehicles.

Park-Ride

The Atlanta Park-Ride is located right off the South Terminal, and its shuttle fleet of 50 vans provides free shuttle service to both North and South curbside check-in. They pick up passengers at the Ground Transportation Center located at the South Terminal. The cost is $2 per hour or $9 per day.

Gold Parking

This membership option is for the flyer who wants guaranteed parking. These covered lots have private entrances and customer assistance. Costs include an initial payment of $200, a $25 card fee and an annual fee of $288. Call (404) 530-5010 to become a Gold Parker member.

Tip

The Airport has placed payment machines alongside baggage claim and the entrance of the Daily Parking Decks. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted.
