A Disney cruise can be a magical and enchanting experience. The floating city offers as much fun as a theme park because of their incredible service, attention to details and a variety activities for all ages.

Destinations

Disney Cruise Lines travel to the Bahamas (three, four or five nights), the Caribbean (seven, 10 or 11 nights), the Mexican Riviera (seven or 10 days), Europe (seven to 12 nights), Alaska and the Pacific Coast (five to seven nights), Panama (15 nights) and Transatlantic (14 nights.)

Prices

Florida residents receive discounts with proof of residency. As of 2009, a three-night cruise to the Bahamas for two adults and a six-year-old starts around $1,735+ for a standard inside stateroom, leaving and returning from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Features for Kids

Flounders Reef Nursery offers babysitting for babies/toddlers, while the Undersea Ocean Club is for ages three to seven. Oceaneer Lab is for ages eight to 10, Ocean Quest 11 to 13 years old and The Stack 14 to 17 years old. Each level offers interactive games, science, arts and crafts, music and more.

Choices for adults include the Vista Spa and Salon, nightclubs, lounges, an adult-only pool and exclusive adult-only dining room.
The Bahama and Caribbean cruises stop at Disney's private island paradise, Castaway Cay, where you can kayak, snorkel, fish and more.

Tips

Look for online deals or with your travel agent. Kids ages 17 and under can sail free on most Bahamian and Mediterranean cruises.
Opt for the seven-day cruise if you can manage it; anything shorter feels like it's time to pack up as you're settling in.
