Costa Rican rainforest excursions are popular activities. Many include zip-line canopy tours that take visitors on high-speed rides through the rainforest's treetops.

Many people flock to Costa Rica for its famous surf. With miles and miles of beaches, there are literally thousands of breaks for surfers to explore, both in the Pacific and Caribbean.

Spas

Costa Rica has a number of different spas that offer some relaxation during any trip. Mud, hot stone therapies and body wraps are just some of what you'll find at this county's spas.

Fishing trips are a great way to get out on the water and relax at the same time. Plenty of captains take groups out to fish for marlin, tarpon and other fish.
