Hiking
Hike Jamaica's beautiful Blue Mountains or Cockpit County, located in the central-northwestern portion of the island. Rough conditions and primitive trails in Cockpit County should be navigated with an experienced local guide, while the Blue Mountains offer tamer hiking trails that can be traversed with less hiking experience.
Dolphins
Swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios. Dolphin Cove is an enclosed lagoon surrounded by a tropical rainforest. In addition to dolphins, you can see eels, sharks, macaws, snakes and stingrays.
Diving
Find calmer diving options in Negril, large-scale dives in Montego Bay and perfect photo dives in Runaway Bay. An artificial reef constructed from sunken ships can be seen on dives in Ocho Rios.
Snorkeling
Montego Bay offers the best snorkeling options in Jamaica, with Doctor's Cave Beach hosting the most snorkeling access points. For a more adventurous snorkeling experience, hire a guide and head to the Seaworld, Coyoba and Royal Reefs.
Golf
Give your clubs a workout on one of Jamaica's 10 golf courses. Serious golfers will want to try the Tryall Golf Club. The Negril Hills Golf Club offers a course filled with elevated trees and many twists and turns. Other courses include the Sandals Golf and Country Club, Manchester Club, Half Moon, Ironshore, Breezes and Montego Bay.
