Maui
Maui, known as The Valley Isle, is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Popular attractions on Maui are the Haleakala National Park, Hana Highway and Lahaina.
Lanai
Lanai is called The Pineapple Isle because of its history of being an island-wide pineapple plantation. Lanai has two hotels and four-wheel drive vehicles are required to visit all other attractions.
Molokai, Kaho'olawe and Niihau
Molokai is known as The Friendly Isle, because of the visitor friendly culture. Molokai has the largest fringing reef in the United States on its south shore. Kaho'olawe, referred to as The Target Isle, was used during World War II as a training ground and bombing ground. This island has no permanent residents, mostly due to its lack of freshwater. Niihau was purchased in 1864 by the Robinson family and has been privately owned since then. Niihau is known as The Forbidden Isle because it is off-limits to all but relatives of the owners, government officials, United States Navy and invited guests.
