Great and stylish wide brimmed hat
This is a great hat. I had been looking for a hat just like this for some time. The only other hats similar to this I found were 100% leather hats from a boutique store in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They were also well over $200. I have worn this hat over many many miles of hiking and love it!

Rough and Tumble...
Was in Portland and didn't bring a hat to protect my skin cancer prone neck.For the price, it's a great hat... holds shape well, came looking beat-up, so I didn't try to protect it. Got out on rain and the sun (almost simultaneously, as is Portland), and it worked great. drawstring will hold it on my head, and the rain pours off. Back in MN, and on 80F days, it's a bit hot, but doesn't seem to show a sweat stain given it's dark color. Wearing on the North shore hiking was great, and just takes a couple minutes to bend it back into shape out of the rucksack.
