DC Status Dual-Zone Boa Snowboard Boots - 2011/2012
The DC Status Dual-Zone Boa snowboard boots are the most supportive, and therefore the most responsive, in the DC lineup. Full-grain leather adds beauty as well as long-lasting comfort. Boa® lacing offers on-the-fly adjustment and never comes untied; dual-zone adjustment allows the upper and lower zones to tighten independently of each other. Constrictor floating straps prevent Boa cables from traveling, and deliver reduced friction and enhanced pressure distribution; plus, less hardware means increased durability. Ergonomically-shaped 3D tongues with seamless construction prevent pinching and hot spots. Molded vents in the shells and liners help prevent feet from overheating and moisture from building up; your feet stay dryer and therefore warmer. Welded backstays and welded toe reinforcements provide durability and grip for bindings. Lightweight, low-profile outsoles allow maximum board-to-terrain feel; traction pattern grips well on and off the snow and prevents snow from building up and clogging bindings. Impact-absorbing padding won't change properties under varied climates or temperatures, so it always remains effective. Alpha liners feature stiff internal support beams and 3D molded J-bars for a snug fit and heel hold; directional fabric lining prevents heel slippage. Easy-entry panel lines the top quarter of the liner's interior and allows the foot to slide in and out of the boot with ease. Rip-and-stick power straps secure feet down in liners.
