Solid and Sturdy
I have been using Crank Brother pedals for seven or eight years now. Mainly I had kept to the Egg Beater line but switched a little over a year ago to the Candys. Same basic pedal with a bigger platform which helps spread the load around on your foot. More power, less feet falling asleep.

I actually have 2 Pairs now, on both my mountain bike and road bike. They were really easy to get used to and are solid as a rock. While my friends are cleaning their cleats with SPD's on the trail I am in my pedals and cranking up the hill. As soon as I got familiar with the system I put them on all the bikes that I have. (I have 2 sets of Candy 3 and 1 set of Candy 1) and they are way cheaper than the candy 11 wh

NICE PEDALS
these are my first clipless pedals and i couldent be happier about buying them. took about a day to get use to the entry/exit. but the next day i was mountain biking in harold parker with no problem, took about an hour to get my confidence up with being able to transfer more power to the drive train to power through terrain that would other wise stall the bike and make me walk. the folowing day i installed the pedals on my road bike and they work very nicley. some minor issues i have is the number three on the inside part of the platform wore off very quickly and clipping in, especially on rough parts of the trail. i think its just my lack of experience with clipless pedals
