Good, but not great
Some parts of this jacket's description label it as 800-fill down, some labels it as 700-fill down.It is 700-fill down and has a 700-fill down label on the sleeve. This jacket adds warmth, but not a significant amount. It keeps me comfortable down into the 40s, but I start to feel cold below that. The colors are nice and wear well. The fit is excellent, provided you are a relatively fit individual.Unfortunately the jacket doesn't pack into one of its own pockets, like some other down fill sweaters/jackets. I can stuff it into a little stuff sack, but it doesn't compress as much as say a Mountain Hardware Ghost Whisperer. It's also rather heavy...at 15oz-16oz.While I bought it and will keep it, I'd recommend anyone else use their money towards a Mountain Hardware Ghost Whisperer. If you only want to spend $120-ish on a down jacket, then this one is fine.

good quality, good looks
I use the sweater-jacket for casual wear, cool mornings, and as a layer under my waterproof shell

Not true to size
Tried smaller size and it was way too tight thought the shoulders/back area. Went up one size -- overall fit larger, but

Didn't fit
Can't really attest to the performance of this jacket as I never found one that fit. The first size fit everywhere except across the shoulders and through the chest, couldn't get it zipped easily. Took it back and got the larger size which was a little big through the torso, but still was very restrictive across the shoulders. Couldn't put my backpack on without straining the seams. Took it back too. Will go back to a brand that runs more true to size.

Cost Effective Down Jacket
This is what an affordable down jacket should be. As someone just getting into backpacking, I've taken this jacket with m
