The Columbia Sur Le Peak™ insulated pants keep you where you want to be—in the mountains, on the snow, kicking up powder all the way down. Waterproof, breathable Omni-Tech® coating keeps you dry in all conditions; critical seams are taped to boost weather protection. 60g polyester fiber insulation keeps the cold at bay, offering high compressibility and lofty warmth. Adjustable waist offers a snug, customized fit so pants won't slide down when you're cruising. Zippered thigh vents channel airflow to regulate interior warmth when activity heats up. Internal, adjustable leg gaiters prevent snow from sneaking into your boots. Lower leg snap gussets offer easy on and off. Front zippered pockets on Columbia Sur Le Peak pants stow extras and warm chilly hands.

ok pant -way too long for 5'3"

I need another pair of snowshoeing/cross-country skiing pants. These look nice on the model. I got the medium. I'm 5'3" and they went at least 6 inches past my feet. Also, the waist adjustment velco is on the inside of the waist, not the outside, so it might catch on clothing and rub skin. I wish it came in a short option.
