Description

Columbia River Pazoda Knife and Eat'N Tool Combo Pack

The Columbia River Pazoda pocket knife and Eat'N Tool combo pack brings together the stylish folding Pazoda pocket knife and the ingenious Eat'N Tool into one package. Pazoda folding knife features a premium stainless-steel blade and frame, both coated with gray titanium nitride. Oval blade hole allows fast opening with either hand. Eat'N Tool looks like the familiar spoon/fork "spork" combination that belies a lightweight, high-tech outdoor tool. Besides the ergonomic spoon and short-tined fork, there's a handy bottle opener on one side and an emergency screwdriver blade on the other. 3 metric wrenches (10mm, 8mm and 6mm) are useful for emergency repairs. Non-weight-bearing carabiner lets you clip the Eat'N Tool to clothing or a pack.

Not a bad combo

I have given this combo a run for a full year before reviewing it, and used it in just about all the likely scenarios most of us will face (daily EDC/use, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, repairs). The knife itself is a very simple, basic design. K.I.S.S. principle at work, and that hardly ever fails. Smooth scales make EDC easy, though they do negate themselves in wet/slick conditions. Blade is a good DP design, good steel, easy to sharpen, holds a good edge. The serrations stay sharp and work well on rope. Overall, a solid knife. The Eat'n Tool, at first, seems funky, but it works. I've used it every day as a staple of the lunch pail, used it in the mtns of CO for 11 days, used it on boats, etc., and it just works. The wrench capability isn't great, but it is useful, and when you need it, it works. The only knock on the whole set-up is weight. A Ti Eat'n Tool would be fantastic, as would G-10 or Ti scales for the knife. Good bang for the buck, though.

Awesome little blade

I've had many pocket knives over the years and like having one in my pocket all the time. This knife is low profile and I barely even notice its there. Others I had were to big and combersome, interfered with pocket access or to heavy. My paws are large and the handle is comfortable and easy to hold on to. The spoon on the other hand is a little to gimmicky, but at [$] the knife is a great value, even without the spoon. Comes with a good little beener though.
