A little snug to start
I wear this skiing when the weather warms up. A base layer, mid layer, and this jacket and I am all set. Please note that it is a great shell, but it has no insulation. Given the picture, I expected it to be baggier, but still can't complain about the fit. It was a little snug out of the box, but loosened up quickly. I'd purchase it again.

Great Jacket
I purchased this jacket for a recent trip to Snowmass/Aspen. There is little to no insulation in the jacket and I was concerned. I called REI and expressed my concern and they said if I layered correctly it would be fine. They were right. Long underwear, a thin shirt and a fleece with this jacket was all that was needed. (It snowed almost every day I was there). I even overheated while skiing once or twice with that many layers. The windproofing and water proofing were all that was needed. For really cold days, in the negative numbers, you would need another jacket or more layers I think (we never got that cold when I was there).[Rev

this jacket is NOT insulated
This jacket is listed as the Burton Launch Insulated Jacket, but I have several insulated jackets (and one other Burton insulated Poacher) and this jacket has zero insulation. Not a problem if you just want a shell, but I thought you might want to know before you bought it!Get POW, y'all!
