The Hero from Burton is a freestyle weapon! The V-Rocker™ between your feet and rockers toward nose and tail provide exceptional control, press-ability and pop. Buttery, scooped tips and knifelike edges combined with the 3-stage V-rocker add to an already ridiculously forgiving and nimble package. Symmetrical shape offers a balanced ride when ridden regular or switch; directional flex increases pop in the tail and control in the tip. The Channel M6 system offers unlimited, on-the-fly stance adjustability, enhances board feel and is compatible with EST™, Re:Flex™ and Disc® bindings. The Channel lets you fine-tune your stance width to the millimeter, and then dial in your toe-to-heel centering and rotate your angles in 1 fell swoop. Carbonated rods radiate energy outward from the Channels towards the tip and tail for added snap and power, balancing the loose and playful feel of the Hero. Wood core is light, snappy and responsive; engineered wood grain positioned along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the core, improves edge hold and strength. Negative core profile is thinner between the bindings, providing a softer flex and allowing improved foot control. Fiberglass in the topsheet provides versatile flex and response so you can shred everything from big mountain descents to laps in the park. Tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight and improves powder flotation. Meaty 10:45 sidewalls optimize 2 different angles to absorb impact for aggressive riders. Durable and highly porous sintered base lowers friction between board and snow, keeping you moving fast in all snow conditions. .
