The Black Diamond Axis 33 pack is a top-loading, alpine guide-style hauler designed for comfort on fast alpine climbs. Its stable and supportive suspension offers impressive freedom of movement. ergoACTIV™ suspension offers full range of motion, and optimal comfort for scrambling and climbing. SwingArm™ shoulder straps move in concert with a hiker’s stride or a climber’s reach by sliding through the bottom of the pack with a low-friction cable and housing. Shoulder straps are linked to the other by the cable which helps maintain an even, balanced load across the shoulders. Thermoformed back panel is vented to maximize breathability. Removable, padded hipbelt connects to the frame with a ball joint that allows it to move unrestrictedly in any direction. Top-loading main compartment features a zip closure with a tuck-away helmet holder and rope strap. Hydration-compatible design features a reservoir sleeve and drink tube exit port (reservoir sold separately). Ice tool PickPockets™, 3-point haul system and welded crampon patch accommodate climbing gear; side compression straps take up extra volume and stabilize your load. The Black Diamond Axis 33 pack is made of tough ripstop nylon.
