glue fails, tail strip breaks
the good: REI was great in refunding, so no loss there, will use REI again; skin carpet grips snow wellthe terrible: from dry Colorado snow to wet Canadian snow, glue looses it's stickiness quickly (3rd use), in wet snow pretty much no stick (except for residue it leaves on base of the skis), tail strip rips out at metal gusset easily (gusset gets lost on trail), after first swap from off to on the skis while on the trail, the glue is toast (even with all the tricks of keeping it clean, warmed in coat, etc). What happened to the BD glue? My old BD skins stick fine.
