Benchmade 551 Griptilian Serrated Locking Knife - Sand

I received this knife as a going away/ birthday gift when i left for the Army. I've had this knife for about a little over 6 months now and i can't complain. this knife has held up wonderfully to everything I've put it through. i use this knife tons of times everyday for everything from cutting 550 cord to cleaning my weapon to opening up MRE boxes. it is just such a useful sized knife. the serrations are spectacular, they've stayed very sharp and just rip through anything in front them. the blade has stayed sharp i only had to sharpen it recently and i didn't take much to get it back to a razor. although the knife doesn't look menacing it'll surely get any job done.

REI shipped very promptly. Received in just a couple of working days. Had the 551 in black and satin. Liked it, but gave it away to a relative. Replaced with the 551 BLK and Sand. Love this color combination much better. Locks up tight. No play. Blade is wicked sharp out of the box. Benchmade makes a great quality knife!
