LockJaw mechanism is easy to use with gloves and works by flicking the lock open, setting the length and then clamping the lock closed, ensuring a secure setting. Rubber grips are ergonomically shaped for comfort; adjustable nylon webbing wrist straps improve support and control. Steel tips on the Atlas 2-piece LockJaw snowshoe poles supply biting traction; removable snow baskets provide flotation in powder and soft snow.
