These shoes are awesome
I bought these shoes before a trip to Costa Rica. I am so glad I spent the money. They were great, I kayaked, hiked, anything and everything in them. They are kinda pricey, but well worth it.

Awesome Kayak Shoe
I've been wearing Brewers for the last 7 months both in a kayak and for everyday use. I admit that I am biased towards Astral products and have owned many over the years HOWEVER the Brewers are a huge step forward in terms of paddling footwear. On the river the Stealth outsole is hands down the stickest rubber that I've used to date...this gives me confidence in my footing when portaging and during rescue when there is no time for mistakes. The midsole cushions and protects, but my favorite aspect is that the heel and ball of the foot are on the same plane.
