Durable Gore-Tex Soft Shell/nylon 3L laminated fabric offers complete waterproof, breathable protection. Soft polyester tricot lining boosts warmth retention without sacrificing breathability. Helmet-compatible Drop Hood™ combines the protection of a high collar with an easy-access, laminated brimmed hood. Micro seam allowances and tiny Gore seam tape reduce weight. Waterproof front zipper with inner laminated storm guard ensures total weatherproofing; laminated quick-drying chin guard protects skin from abrasion. Adjustable powder skirt offers good coverage and incorporates gripper elastic and a secure double-snap closure. Pit zippers offer on-the-fly venting so you won't overheat. Articulated elbows and gusseted underarms ensure a comfortable fit; drop-back hem ensures good coverage. Multiple storage options: dual handwarmer pockets, sleeve pocket and an interior pocket feature waterproof zippers. Embedded RECCO® reflector enhances radio signals from search-and-rescue RECCO detectors for quicker acquisition of position in an avalanche.
