The Arc'Teryx Atom LT is a trim hybrid hoodie designed as an insulation layer for active use. It provides vital core warmth, breathability and freedom of motion. Lightweight and compressible, the Atom LT features Coreloft™ synthetic insulation in the torso, arms and hood. Polartec® Power Stretch® with Hardface® side panels and underarms increase range of motion and breathability. Durable Water Repellent outer shell finish extends stand-alone usability. Scuba-style hood fits under a helmet. Front zipper features an insulated windflap. Gusseted underarms and articulated elbows ensure a good fit. Laminated hem drawcord and stretch knit wrist gaskets hold in warmth. Handwarmer pockets and 1 internal pocket. Hip length with drop back hem; trim fit maximizes heat retention.

Great Hoddie

I like this jacket a lot! I originally bought it as a light hoodie to wear when it was just a smidge cold, but I think it works best as a layering base jacket than just an everyday hoodie. It is not that warm when you wear it as the only layer. If you double up though- it is a great base.The material is great for windy days and easy for light camping as I can fold it up very small. The hood is hard to keep on if you're only wearing the jacket but stays put when under another hood.I do dock this jacket a little bit because it is already falling apart at the zipper with threads coming loose. I expect a lot from Arcteryx products so I am a bit disappointed I have it coming apart after only a few months with no heavy use.Overall though, I am still very happy with this. It is hard to get it dirty and I appreciate the banded wrist openings to prevent the cold from getting in. It also has a nice inside pocket. Very Pleased.
