Warm, light, awesome!
This replaces my admittedly light fleece which just wasn't warm enough in the winter. It seems like everyone is wearing some form of "puffy" jacket these days either with down or synthetic insulation. Most of them look terrible in my opinion. This jacket was surprisingly stylish compared to the others and it works great. For light outdoor activity, I can wear a Cap 3 base layer, this jacket as insulation, and finally a thin wind/rain jacket. This keeps my really warm down to the 30-40s.

Highly recommended
I really like this jacket. I use it for many things. It's my daily driver in the Seattle area and it's perfect for our typical 45 degree muggy, cloudy, breezy winter days. The hood comes in very handy in the rain. Not a rain jacket per se, but it'll do until you get a shell on just fine, or for light limited time rain.

Fleece Replacement!
I was looking for a fleece replacement and I found it. I've had a North Face Denali fleece for years. It served its purpose, but it is heavy, bulky, and wind goes through it. The Atom hoodie is light, compressible, warm for aerobic activities, and dries quickly. It's been great for temps below 25F: skate-skiing, ski-touring, and skinning up. It breathes a little better than soft-shell jackets I've had, but it wicks way better. It's not completely windproof, which helps it breathe. I plan on bringing it summer backpacking (South-central AK).Cons: The hood isn't adjustable, and is a little big and loose. The side panels are a stretchy fleece that let breezes through sometimes. It could also use another pocket or internal mesh pockets. After using it for 3 months I am very satisfied.
