The Arc'teryx SL Hybrid jacket is super lightweight, compressible and waterproof. It utilizes 2 different Gore-Tex® textiles to increase durability without adding unnecessary weight. SL Hybrid jacket is ideal for emergency weather protection when hiking or climbing. 2.5-layer Gore-Tex® PacLite® body is engineered specifically to be light, packable and more breathable than other 2- or 3-layer Gore-Tex fabrics. A waterproof membrane is laminated to the shell fabric and then covered by a thin, durable protective oil-resistant coating. Lack of need for a separate lining allows fabric to be light and compact; combines durable wind- and waterproofness with exceptional breathability. Extra durable Gore-Tex® Pro Shell 3-layer laminate fabric in the shoulders and underarm gussets is tough, extremely breathable and durably waterproof and windproof. Tiny seam tape reduces bulk and weight. Helmet-compatible storm hood with drawcord adjustments; laminated chin guard resists abrasion. Water-resistant external zippers; molded zipper garages shield zipper heads. Pit zippers ensure easy venting; corded zipper pulls reduce noise and are easy to grab. Laminated die-cut rip-and-stick cuff adjusters reduce bulk and won't catch or tear off. Laminated dropped back hem with drawcord adjustment. 2 high crossover hand pockets with water-resistant zippers are easy to get to with a pack on. Anatomic shaping ensures good fit and comfort; articulation ensures easy movement. Arc'teryx Alpha SL Hybrid jacket stays put with no-lift gusseted underarms.
