Fantastic portable seating
I've used this for the national scout jamboree, and it was fantastic. Great to set up, easy to use, very confortable. A bit low to the ground, but nonetheless exceptionally practical.

Nice concept but flawed execution
We bought two of these for carrying on bicycling, backpacking, scootering trips. The chair is comfortable and lightweight. Takes a bit of time to set up. Not the best for outdoor events, as it is so much lower than standard outdoor chairs that it is difficult to see over everyone else, but otherwise a great chair if only it were durable. The aluminum tubing tends to suddenly split open during use, rendering the chair unusable. Very disappointing after having trekked it in to a remote campsite. This has happened twice. The first time, REI replaced it for us. The replacement chair failed on its first use - haven't yet tried to return it.

Love this chair!!! Now to get out of it!
I love this chair, the best ideas are the simplest ones! Perfect for hiking, light weight, packable, comfortable, a little low to ground but with practice, you can get out of it!! My first chair from another seller was bad, wobbly legs, frame was bent, not good for such and expensive little chair. Glad I decided to try REI, got a great chair, no damage and it's perfect for use in my tent or sun cabana, due to low height. This amazing chair packs up so small, and is surprisingly comfortable with the high back rest, which is a welcome relief after a few hours on the trail. Liked it so much saved and bought another one! On sale is a manageable price. I purchased the parad
