The Ahnu Elkridge eVent™ cross-training shoes provide waterproof protection, lightweight construction and great support and stability for use on day hikes and lightweight overnight trips. Uppers feature a mix of tough, full-grain leather and protective synthetic leather for lasting performance and support. Highly breathable eVent waterproof membranes keep the elements out while setting a high standard for comfort by allowing perspiration to dissipate and vent quickly. Nylon linings wick moisture away from feet. Dual-density EVA midsoles provide shock absorption and cushioning comfort underfoot; EVA plugs work with external struts to stabilize heels for enhanced performance. Thermoplastic urethane shanks and forefoot plates supply support and torsional rigidity, and help prevent stone bruising. Nonmarking rubber outsoles feature multidirectional lugs for great traction on varying terrain.
