The Oregon section of the Pacific Crest Trail begins near Siskiyou Summit on the California border and ends at the Bridge of the Gods on the Columbia River. The Oregon section has a gentle crest that is fairly contant in elevation. The highest point is an unnamed saddle north of Mt. Thielsen at 7,560 feet. Many volcanoes can be seen from the PCT, but this section is better known for the many lakes passed in the central and southern portion of the state. In addition to Crater Lake National Park, the Oregon PCT passes through several wilderness areas including Sky Lake, Mt. Thielsen, Diamond Peak, Three Sisters, Mt. Washington, and Mt. Jefferson.
